The AGNPRO miniBox Interactive Network Media Player can be controlled by the ChyTV Plus' RS-232 Interface. With the miniBox as your input video source, you can add full motion video to your ChyTV video graphics and live content and make your ChyTV Plus even more versatile and add value to your solution. The AGNPRO miniBox NXP is a 100% solid state device using compact flash as the storage device, eliminating failure points such as a hard drive or fan. With the RJ-45 network port on the miniBox, content can be delivered to the miniBox through the network and available for playback triggered by the ChyTV Plus device.

ChyTV Plus can trigger the playback of a video clip form the miniBox that is synchronous with a specific page or schedule a clip to be played as part of the playlist. RS-232 commands can be embedded in the original ChyTV formatted page so that when that page is displayed, the selected video will appear within a window or full screen. Or, the RS-232 command can be a line item in the playlist in order to have the video clip appear in sequence with a series of pages or at a specified time. ChyTV Plus can even switch between various external video sources including cable box, satellite receiver, media player or DVD.

ChyTV Tools will feature an easy to use interface for programming the RS-232 and GPIO controls. Turning the display on or off, controlling a media player and changing the TV channel can all be programmed by the ChyTV.
